Youtube is a geek’s paradise these days. you’ll find everything from the most complex levels of computing to something as simple as a How to open a door video, which by the way has 1.5 million views. As you can imagine, my homepage tends to bring me lots of content about new technologies as well as progress on others. So today I’m gonna build a hypothetical world in which the tech I liked the most is a reality. And I may add a few features of my own into the mix kiboz (Denisovich from hotel transylvania reference there) I can. I dare you to find these cleverly hidden features if you can. Without further ado, I cordially welcome you into this weirdo’s thought wavelength.
The first piece of technology I will talk about is Elon Musk. This humanoid is a walking technological marvel with the potential to catapult the world several generations into the future. The world should just wake up one day and sign a petition making him ruler of the planet for life. Can you imagine the kind of civilization we could become with hyperloop and teslas for our commutes, solar walls and tiles powering our homes, non-Skynet AI to take IoT to new heights and a Boring Company that lets you chill an sip on some coffee while your car is moving at hundreds of miles an hour. And this is the stuff he’s already done as a private citizen. I doubt we can even begin to imagine what he could do with the best and brightest from every country at his disposal.

This hypothetical world would also enjoy high-speed computing like nothing you can imagine. With the actualization and commercialization of quantum computing, the technological realm is advancing at unprecedented speeds. As it stands, the current prototypes promise to be thousands of times faster than existing supercomputers. With this, Virtual and augmented reality are likely to become a normal part of our everyday lives and honestly, I can’t wait to have a go at people on a virtual reality version of PubG.
I also wanna add flying humans to the mix. I’ve always yearned for the ability to fly into a hurricane and just enjoy the feel of the raging rain from inside a ridiculously huge cloud. So be it through really advanced flying cars or an iron man suit similar to what Genesis Industries is working on, this is a world in which you can go anywhere at any time simply by stepping into your jet-powered suit. Just try and avoid running into an infinity gauntlet like Tony Stark (PS. I’m still pissed marvel killed off Stark).

But what’s the point of flying if you’re restricted to this tiny planet of ours that reeks of carbon emissions? Why not go inter-planetary with summers on mercury and winters in the far reaches of the galaxy? The warp drive would probably be an introvert’s best friend. When you feel like being alone, you simply hop into your ship and go chill in some distant nebula for a few light-years.
It’s weird how easy it is to conceptualize a utopia in which humanity has advanced past out petty disputes and created a technological marvel. The world I have in my mind seems like the ideal place to have. unfortunately, we each have ideas of what a paradise should look like. While some dream of an all-white society, others visualize a diverse and inclusive world where our differences are part of the core principles that bring us together. I wonder if we are even capable of truly embracing the diversity of our tiny blue planet?

Sigh! I know what you mean here. 🤣I’d only these out wishes could come true. But as you said everyone’s concept of utopia would be very different and how would that be different from what we have now?

Hehe very true. At this point, we just have to find a place we feel at home and make our own paradise there.

Amazing… especially where our differences are part of the core principles that bring us together…and I would like to fly sometimes…bt can u imagine flying in a tornado ..I think that would be harzadous considering the type of momentum it comes with.. you’ll barely see what’s ahead..

What if you could go in there and come out unharmed? With how medical tech is also growing, it will probably be possible at some point in the future. Assuming we don’t go extinct first that is 😁

My ideal world is made up of 2 categories.
Category 1 is the ‘low hanging fruit’ which is a world where we stop putting corrupt people in office and instead we put ‘people who are for people’
Category 2 is a bit of a stretch, which is a world where we have fully mapped the oceans and we finally know what’s really going on down there.
